Can anyone teach me french-braiding? I will offer whatever sort of reasonable recompense you desire. (cookies, lunch, organizing/cleaning help)

Does anyone know what one might do with a number of perfectly functional incandescent bulbs? We just switched ours all out, and it seems a shame to throw away perfectly good lightbulbs. Also, on that note, does anyone know what one might do with a handful of gold-colored cabinet knobs? I switched over the kitchen, and these knobs seem solid and durable and functional, just not my style.

If you and your partner had decided for an anniversary present you were going to try to find some piece of art created (ideally) by a local artist, where would you begin looking?
