so..all sorts of intending to write a long lj entry or two, about a fantastic weekend, and compose some emails i'm eager to respond to, and get a lot of work done. all to be derailed by a bunch of stupidity at work, of various kinds, compounded by the fact that catching up for an entire day's work tends to destroy the relaxation of taking a day off, i end up frustrated and headachy and miserable at the end of my day, and i'm not going to make cookies, or even dinner, and tomorrow won't be any better, since i don't even know if i'll make potluck because i have to go to a stupid work seminar and i don't know when i'll get back, and i was going to bring cookies, but i'm too fussyheadachy to make them, and then thursday will be about catching up from wednesday and i've got one of those cuts on the side of my thumb that hurts every time i type with it and gah.

so, world, i think i might be abandoning you for a couple days. wish me prompt resurfacing, more pleasant on the other side.
