I realized I never actually broke down the 9 and 10 star books of 2018. No time like now, I guess. Reviewing them all seems like too much, but I'm happy to gush about any of them. 10s aren't perfect, they're just books I'd wholeheartedly recommend and probably wave my hands about while doing so. (there are a couple content warnings, though). 9s are still omnia-bait, but possibly with a caveat or two before I recommend them.
