omnia_mutanturtired, and i've been hauling stuff around, but the laundry's in and history's not coming over tonight, and the pizza's order. light just thanked me for admitting i was wrong, which seems an odd thing to thank a person for. feline and i made chocolate chip cookies last night, and i'm sending them off with light tomorrow to his work, so we won't eat them, but i'm contemplating going to get whipping cream, 'cause we bought strawberries at the roadside stand on route nine and they're pretty, and i think i found a good shortcake recipe at foodtv.
i got the signature sounds sampler #8, and i'm quite fond of the mammals, i think, but i'd have to hear more to make an actual judgement.
the apartment's coming together slowly, and maybe we will have a couple comfortable months here before we move wherever light will be taking me next. it looks like we're staying in the valley, it feels less claustrophobic and more of a choice now that i know that i am capable of leaving and just don't want to, instead of can't. (which sounds meaningless, but makes sense to me, and i don't currently think it to be a rationalization)
my father's still a bigot, my little brothers still rock the house, we've finished the first two seasons of b5, dar comes to the calvin in september, and it's sunday and light's not leaving which makes it hard to stop smiling.
on that newsy and hard to follow note, off to pick up the pizza.
