Jul. 29th, 2007 08:45 pmSo much fun.
In the past couple days I have seen the Simpsons movie, gone grocery shopping, played WoW, made buttermilk pancakes topped with raspberries, gone grocery shopping, watched Lucky Number Slevin, made weird soup with heavenly corn, finished the latest HP, hung out at B&N reading a trashy YA vampire novel, gone to a clothing swap and landed a couple pieces of clothing (and got rid of more than I brought) and played a hell of a lot of thoroughly enjoyable Mario Party 8 with some of my favorite people.
My first month of unemployment has come and gone. I'm wondering if it'll always feel like it'll be hard to go back to work, of if at some point I'll transition into boredom and be eager to go back. For now, obsessive cleaning, cooking and a hell of a lot of reading still seem like a pretty comfortable (if guilt inducing) lifestyle. Just like everything else, I guess time will tell.
