Work asked me to stay on a little bit longer, and offered me part-time or flexible hours if I were to do so.

I'm inclined to say yes, but can't figure out in what configuration to do so. Also, was somewhat peeved by my boss stating "well, you did give notice on a short week" and "it could be as little as a couple weeks" when she had not approached me about this at all last week and I think extending my termination date by even one week would be nice of me.

Currently I'm trying to decide between two extra part time weeks and one extra full time week. I'm afraid however of getting in a weird place where my boss is mad at me for not extending it more and I'm mad at her for not appreciating me extending it at all. On the other hand, it's just one more week, and with that comes one more paycheck.

Also, I'm compiling a list of things I wish to learn to create while I am a lady of leisure. Current front runners are my own horchata, my own limeade, pineapple upside down cake, my own crystallized ginger and lemon yogurt cake. If you live in the area, please volunteer to eat the fruits (and baked goods) of my labor.

Well, we're off to indulge in restaurant week. Hopefully it's good tempeh.

Wtf? By that logic, you would owe them one day.

But you don't owe them anything! It will be extremely nice of you to come in at all!

My advice would be to just work another full-time week if you work at all; this is entirely subjective and based only on how I would feel were I in a similar position. *hug*

If you do the extra time, I would vote for one full-time week. That way it will be over with, instead of dragging on.

i dreamed about making a pineapple cake filled with a lemon infused raspberry and mandarin orange cream. still want to make it, even if i'm not sure how it would work.
