Noisy just set herself on fire again, and is now scared of me because I smacked her to put her out.

I sent Saint five pounds of gummi lobster candy for her birthday.

Light's wedding ring is giving him some bizarre finger-gangrene, and it makes me outofproportion sad that he might have to stop wearing his ring.

Chile said the nicest thing ever to me today. Well, possibly a close second to Light proposing.

I got my soap order, which gives me the option of smelling like a number of yummy things, most notably chocolate raspberry.

I should clean, or exercise, or talk to people. I'm not going to, even though it might make me feel better, because I feel exhausted and gritty-eyed and close to weeping, yet again.

Grr on this. Double grr.

in my experience, weird jewelry-related skin conditions are generally solved by coating the offending piece of jewelry in clear nail polish. Wet-n-Wild works well. Might need to be reapplied every few weeks.

Oh man. I've so been there.

Hope you're feeling better by the time you get this comment. :(

I had something similar happen with my high school class ring that was a combination of (a) a mild nickel allergy and (b) leaving the ring on when I washed my hands, with the result that the skin underneath was constantly irritated by soap and never fully dried. It looked like a radiation burn, but healed just fine (read: peeled off in one big chunk and then healed) once I left the ring off for a few days.

Don't know if either allergy or sogginess are possible culprits in his case, but figured I'd mention them on the off chance that it might help.

+1 on the nail polish. I've done that and it worked well for me. I also think it helps to take off rings and dry under them when you wash your hands.
