omnia_mutantur | snow and tofurkey

i'm sure i'll be annoyed by it in a couple weeks/days/hours, but right now? snow smells wicked awesome! exclamation mark awesome, in fact. i just made my pilgrimage, out to the front step in my boots and my bathrobe, to get the first snow of the year in my hair, and it's so pretty, and Noisy's having an awful time figuring out what's going on outside the window with all that motion to track.

happy day of feasting, everyone, regardless of what you're doing and with whom and for what reason. Feel free to stop by for leftovers any time friday saturday or sunday, we're certain to have some for at least that long.

for now, pre kitchen insanity, i'm going to drink my tea, maybe play some katamari, and read a little more of my crazy novel about the gay male vietnamese cook to Gertrude Stein and Alice B Toklas. i'm a sucker for any novel with the world Salt in the title. (this one, when finished, will mean i've hit my goal of 100 this year)
