Jan. 29th, 2005 09:43 pma neat chickpea soup, the library, an appointment for a haircut, some ovencleaner, a kitten asleep on my foot, migraine medicine, and the idea of creating a board or card game based on a jane austen novel.
"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife."
you have eight major characters, you have to get them married and keep them married. you're in charge of two couples, your opponent is in charge of two. there are a variety of minor characters that are single events (lord darcy falls in with a trollop, etc) that can either aid or hinder plot progression. i can see it all in my head. hell, i can think of more than a handful of books i could subject to this manhandling (no pun intended..
