i missed t minus seven.

it was uneventful. a couple more boxes of books packed. (we've got like eleven boxes packed already that are just books) i called all of the utility companies and switched service, made bad peanutbutter cookies and good lasagna, broke a nail, deftly avoided a couple moments of near-crippling nostalgia, though i'm sure the packing will bring that up again later.

we start moving 8/23, but won't have to be officially out of where we are now until 9/15.

the big moving (ie with truck) weekend is 8/28.

well, i will be out in noho area anyway, on my way south, on the 30th. want to plan for then? or would you prefer the weekend before so as not to be quite so hectic?

the 30th is the monday after all the moving chaos. the 28th we'll probably be hauling light's stuff from chelmsford to the new house, and the 29th we'll be hauling stuff from the old apartment to the new house.

but a) it's you and b) you're bringing me a bookcase, so whenever's most convenient for you.

yes, the 30th is a monday.
by the weekend before i meant this weekend.
but, a leetle call from cavebear's oldest son last night negated that weekend as a possibility anywho... (i get to meet his son.. who's 6mos older than me! this is so weird!)
so, i'll swing by on the 30th. shall i bring it by your new place so you don't have to move it much?
