took my walk, admired venus, bought one of the cats a new comb. (someday, i'll admit she doesn't like being groomed. up until then, i'll just keep thinking it's a matter of finding the right tool.)

i've got a duct tape rose and a dollar bill signed by the dude from something positive. i ate my nachos too fast, and i'm inexplicably tired. well, maybe not so inexplicably, it was an eleven hour day. i should hang some clothes up, but i'm not going to.

chatting with light about framingham, and again marvelling a) at the idea this is real and b) how much i must be changing, since i know i could not have done any of this eighteen months ago. if i do move to framingham, does any of my gentle readership have job-seeking suggestions? (time frame not fixed at this point)

still searching for the perfect necklace. i kind of think i found it, and am just not admitting it, 'cause i want something cheaper. it's all feline's fault, associating light and citrine in my head.

the cats are needy at the moment, still annoyed at me for leaving them for so long, and it's halfway between adorable and insanely vexing.

i'm also uprooting myself from my hometown next month, and find the normal newspaper classifieds no help at all. i'm sure you probably have a much more qualified and extensive resume than i, so maybe you'll have an easier time than me.
monster.com seems alrighty, but a lot of really good job opportunities are posted by universities on their websites (that is, if you'd want to be working at a school).
