Jan. 21st, 2004 08:40 amquick notes, before i return to hauling ass to prep for the meeting at ten.
i. have. the. best. boyfriend. ever.
though really, at this point, boyfriend's a pretty anemic word to try and hold up to the burden of representing everything light is to me.
lemon tea tastes funny.
i think i have a plan for my mood. but it hasn't quite formed yet, and i'm really not going to expect much out of myself until it's been consistently over 20 degrees for three days in a row. i will have sorted this out by my vacation, come hell or high water, though.
reponses to yesterday's comments about being a grownup. of course i prefer having autonomy as well as responsibility, as opposed to just the responsibility. maybe it's simply that i resent the circumstances, past and present, that require so much self-reliance. obviously, when coming home from the dentist yesterday, the hour or so spent sobbing hysterically would have been less painful if there had been someone there to pet my head and say there, there. i am sorry that i attempted to speak for the world at large, and thank you for calling attention to my misspeaking.

Date: 2004-01-21 03:13 pm (UTC)Yes. Yes it does. I like my tea, hot or iced, sweet with no lemon or milk. Herbal lemon teas (tisanes), are quite a different matter.
Other topics: I wasn't trying to call you to task for whining, in case that was the impression. Nor was I saying you don't speak for me, and being pissy about it. Just trying to remind you of the good without being preachy. And you were duly reminded. So, it's all good.
