Dec. 10th, 2017 05:56 pm Remember that long list about last weekend? Neither do I.
Actually, some of the things happened, some of them didn't. I went to the booksale, and Hands and Hips', and got a new phone. I stood in line for Illuminations tickets. Abundance and Light bought the dog a coat.
Saturday night, at Hands and Hips, our dog failed to read dog social cues entirely and got bit in the face. (Totally on Nonsense, not at all on the other dog). Then she tore her foot up and bled on their brand new carpet. Then Sunday, instead of the latter half of my plans, I had a migraine. But during the week Light and I grocery shopped and at some point we all talked a little bit about Christmas, and we're doing stockings. Or that's the current plan, we'll see how things fall out.
The week was full and strange and somehow felt empty. I did the things, I went to meetings, and therapy, I scheduled other meetings, I hung out with Starchild for four of the days, and my niece and nephew for the other day. I saw Intention, I had an old friend from Northampton spend the night I cut the end of my finger in an embarassing way (yes, I know better to store scissors like that) and learned that the dog's styptic powder works just as well on me. I felt weird and a little disassociative.
This weekend, Siblingmas got called on account of snow, Light and I played a bunch of secret world before he headed over to his girlfriends and eventually Abundance came home from still more startup meetings. (I realize it's all startup meetings all the way down from here on out, but it was snowing and I wanted to be snowed in with someone other than all the lovely pets. Today I made chili starter and eventually got dressed up and went to Revels with Light, Abundance, Delight, Mischief and Starchild. Oh and all the light reflected off of the snow gave me a protomigraine, so I decided to just medicate it before I went out. Then we went to Honeycomb Creamery and I ate all the ice cream.
This week will include more Starchild (every week will) and meeting at a local school to maybe volunteer, and buying a tree, and more meetings at the partner abuse support organization. And more holiday shopping/decorating.
