"We're all gonna catch that train"
Dec. 2nd, 2017 09:18 am Things I'm hoping to accomplish this weekend
The other list, which is minutae but also feels somehow revealing is the tabs currently open in my browser. I started this entry definitely intending to make the above list, but I've been sort of thinking about how what I/we keep open reflects us, but also has the same cognitive load as email, something that is open because it is unresolved or action needs ot be taken.
Gmail (of course)
dreamwidth(of course)
Google Drive
a google spreadsheet of upcoming events, their time, cost and location.
a google spreadsheet of books I want to read or have read (ask me, I love talking about it)
a google spreadsheet of the lore I have yet to find in secret world.
the meetup page for the hygge thing at the library
- grocery shop
- make chili
- Get some stuff out of Abundance and my's room and into storage
- take the dog to the dog park (all three of us)
- take the dog to a store that will sell us a coat that fits her, also while contemplating booties (I've found booties that llight up, like sneakers, but before I'm going to spend that much on dog apparel, I'm going to see if I can convince her to wear less expensive versions)
- talk about christmas schedules and celebrations and gifts and gift amnesties
- maybe go to either the Winter Market or the Harvard Bookstore sale
- Go to Hands and Hips for dinner tonight
- Receive and set up new phone
- go over my spreadsheet of upcoming events and decide what we should buy tickets to. The big ones are Choir Choir Choir doing Hallejuliah at TCAN and Melissa Ferrick's Christmasish shows at Passim, but I also kind of want to go see Elizabeth and the Catapult, Sub Rosa and Heather Maloney at Passim in January.
- stand in line for illuminations tickets
- do some serious inbox cleaning out - my weird avoidant relationship with my email is not really working out well for me.
- Go to the hygge program at the library
- have dinner at Intention's.
