May. 31st, 2011 12:48 pmI can't tell if it's more frustrating to try to type and have it be so unnaturally slow, or to have unwritten things flailing around inside my head, like a june bug in a screen door.
Things other than the hand surgery/pain/fear/inconvenience have actually been pretty solidly awesome. I loved going out to lee, i loved going out to northampton, I loved china mieville, I'm psyched we bought a membership to the Museum of Science. I've written up a thrilling calendar of events for myself for June, and have announced a self-imposed New England touch-em-all vacation plan for the rest of the year.
NH - b&b deal I bought on living social
VT - Stowe
CT - Mystic Aquarium
RI - next RISD art sale
So Maine's the only one without a specific plan. We could always try to go back to Acadia, but I'd want to be unwounded/unrestricted for that, and 2011 isn't looking great in that regard. Suggestions? (If all else fails, I'll demand a road trip to the When Pigs Fly mothership.)
More work now, before my one-handed typing stamina runs out.
