Weight watchers is making me surly. I keep telling Light I want to eat all the food. I've been trying to fill up on fruits and vegetables, but it turns out no matter how many baby carrots I eat, I'm still peckish.

I've been devouring books lately, having finally decided to just go the library and get the trashy things I want to be reading. And lo, they are trash and they are awesome. Shades of Milk and Honey is my idea of a Jane Austen novel/fantasy novel mashup done exactly the right way.

I'm having my holiday freak out, completely paralyzed by the idea of going to my in-laws. We're going to church this year, they started the guilt campaign early, and I told Light that I would do whatever he did, though I would like him to say something about how it is not a thing that we're entirely comfortable doing. I'm not 100% certain what their motivation is, and I'm not certain that I know the right way to ask.

All four of the cats have been to the vet, all have gotten a clean bill of health. Which means the peeing-on-the-couch was entirely behavioral. Which means we'll never know if they're going to do it again.

I don't feel like I've got anything to say, but I want to put something to paper (screen).
