Positive: I handled a book published in 1730 yesterday while going through my parents' old stuff.

Negative: I still can't think about interviewing without crying.

Some wins, some losses. But I made damn fine cardamom-molasses-rye bread, even if there is no such thing as a warm, draft-free place in my kitchen. To the little victories!
