lengthy invite, of a sort

i'm mostly just cribbing the text of this from what Light put together.
but if you're reading this, you're invited. except if you think you're not,
in which instance you should check with me to see if you are.

Since we don't have any major plans this weekend, and we haven't really done
so yet, and most right-thinking people need a reason to cheer up, we've
decided to have a get-together Saturday night. Call it a "Forget your
misery, enjoy our company" party. Of course, not many people reading this
are actually that close, but anyone who is (or feels like making the trip),
feel free to show up Saturday night, say around 7ish. Comment here or email
me, if you would, so we can get a feel for how many (if any) will show up.
There is limited crash space, for those who would prefer not to drive back
that evening. Feel free to bring guests if you think i'll play nicely
with them.

I'm currently taking cookie-baking requests, so if you have a particular
cookie preference or anything else within the scope of my culinary prowess
(if in doubt, ask) you should indicate said desire, preferably before you
arrive.

two cats, one kitten, at least that many game systems, and the comfiest
couch in the world. and of course, charming hosts. and i'll let you
borrow socks and slide around on the wood floor.
