the wrapping is more than half-done, the butter's softening on the counter, someone acknowledged a card they got on LJ, I got cookies from someone awesome, and Serenity arrived in the mail, and i had leftover falafel from the awesome place for lunch. in a couple hours, i'll go into a cookie baking frenzy, then make chickpeas in a tomato/ginger/garlic sauce for dinner then maybe Look Park to look at the lights, then more cookies.

holidays are neat. i like not going to work.
