And now I have discovered a new guilty pleasure.
Bisquick biscuits. I haven't had these in a gazillion years, and I've never made them with the Heart Smart Bisquick. But I had to buy some for a Community Cooks dish and the rest of the box has been hanging out in our pantry.
Light's fasting for his colonoscopy, and so I intended to just have leftovers or maybe a can of soup, but when I opened the pantry to look at my options, the bisquick screamed out my name, and half a cup of skim milk later, I'm having biscuits and cheese for dinner and words cannot describe how pleased with myself I am.
I feel like this is the appropriate place for a "you can take the girl out of the x, but you can't take the x out of the girl" line, but I can't quite figure out what the value of x would be.
