Another up and down day.  Finished all of duolingo's latin lessons, finished a book for the first time in what I think is probably a week, made food, hung a couple more things on the walls of my room (today it was a sticker from my amazing tattoo artist, emi lynn holler, a little branch card and a printout of Karen Finley's black sheep monologue from Theory of Total Blame.   I wonder sometimes what will count as having too much stuff up on my walls, but also kind of love the sheer profusion of stuff, the cheerful clutter of it all.  tomorrow, it'll probably be a cryptostylis patch and that judy grahn poem.)

I got to talk to Spark in the morning, and ran around the house with my computer i order to show her Light, Abundance, the dog, all four cats, the litter box, the shed outside and my vacuum cleaner as she requested.  Fortunately, she wanted to see the living things a lot more than the inanimate objects.  It felt pretty amazing to see her and I have high hopes of a driveway visit in my near future.

I made dinner, I did dishes, I listened to an Anna Tivel and Jeffrey Martin concert, (my feelings about Jeffrey Martin have somewhat soured, because I think he wrote the song Peter Mulvey covered on Sunday that I had some serious side-eye for) I did a volunteer thing which probably wasn't the volunteer thing I should do, but I'll do that thing tomorrow (hopefully) and if I'm lucky, maybe even go to the Raja Kumari streaming concert.    I didn't remember to try to tune into the MIT Press author talk, but it's recorded and if I'm super-ambitious I can go back to it.    Tomorrow I'm going to try to remember to do my part to support local businesses and selflessly order too much from Honeycomb Creamery.
