.
I've been listening to Shakey Graves a lot, and I can't understand half of what he says but I'm fucking loving his voice. And I've always known that my folk tastes skew Americana and maybe even country/southern rock, but I've always been pretty lyrics-devoted, so an artist I can't exactly understand is kind of a new one for me. Though with repetition I am understanding more.
My laptop has an intermittently loose connection that makes the motion turn completely red (well, red with five thin white strips). I don't want to bring it to Microcenter because in the absence of Abundance and Spark, I'm not sure how well I'd do without a computer for the week they'd probably keep it, but I'm also rather concerned that it will die irrevocably during a shelter-in-place order. Right now, it can usually be solved by readjusting the angle of the hinge or mildly tapping, but i suspect sometime soon I'll be in for a very sad day.

An email from the Elizabeth Warren store about it shutting down
A stupid tv show that involved northern lights.

I saw the northern lights once, and failed to appreciate them, which still pisses me off. It was back when I lived in Northampton and Light lived in Chelmsford and I was driving to visit him Friday night, after dark. Somewhere around Worcester, the sky was a shimmery green and I just assumed it was some mildly toxic part of Worcester being on fire. I'm not sure there are any other appropriate reactions to have to seeing anything in the sky while on the mass pike, but I still kind of wish I'd known.
