(no subject)

 Every Tuesday, Spark and I go to a local public library for a story-and-song half hour and playtime in the toy area.  Now, I know it's not a thing you can tell by looking at someone, or their bearing, or the rainbow stickers on their SUVs, but I believe at least two of the other caretakers are queer and have furthermore clocked me me as one of the same, we nod at each other and make causal conversation.  Of course, they could just be nice but since I want to believe it's because something about me shouts queer caretaker, I'm going to believe that. 

 

So far, I've only gotten a little bit of the medical stuff done.I have an appointment for a sleep study and an vet appointment for Noisy to get some teeth removed.  Tomorrow, eye doctor and optometrist.   And maybe if I'm particularly bold, I'll even listen to my voicemail. 

 

This weekend I totally missed a conB meeting and attended a conA meeting where I paid very little attention.  After that I was interviewed to do a thing and I got pretty flustered.  I think it's because I want to do the thing, but it's possible I still don't have whatever it takes to be chill while being/feeling judged.

 

We had a Eurovision event this weekend.  It ended up being just the boys, me, Boisterous and Bespoke made an appearance at the end to get to see our outrage at the results and be subjected to a replay of our favorite moments, including whatever madonna was doing on stage.  I made two batches of cookie, and tomorrow I'll probably make the olive oil cake that I bought the ingredients  for.
