(no subject)

 Sneaking under the wire with a newsy post.  (strange to me that I love other people's newsy posts and think of myself as somehow having failed when I post one) (not that strange I guess, it's not like I'm a stranger to my double standards)

 

Today: Having opted out of my role and by extension the meeting, I did not go to a meeting for conA today and instead got to spend some delightful time with my siblings, niblings, my parents, my aunt and uncle and Saint's parents.     but mostly with siblings and niblings.  I was that aunt and brought Kilometers a kazoo a recorder and a tambourine for his 4th birthday.  (Media reported that he has asked for one of every instrument for his birthday). 

 

Came home and napped like an extremely tired thing, then eventually we all were awake enough to go to Indie Bookstore day at PSB, where I bought a vegan cookbook, a poetry game involving paint chips, Light bough the nightvale book and the latest Gladstone, ABundance bought a graphic novel and snagged an ARC of one of his favorite authors' latest.

 

Ordered Thai and then stayed up way late watching umbrella academy.

 

Yesterday included dropping off Noisy at the vet for an echocardiogram.   Signing the paperwork that said she's 15yos threw me for more a loop than I expected, I know she's old but she doesn't feel as slowed down as I'd expect for her age and then realizing that's really the sort of information I do my absolute best to block out.  

 

Yesterday also involved the gym, but no therapy, so I could go over to Spark's to cover for the W-F nanny and gets some both adorable cuddles and some epic meltdowns. We also had an awesome Beck dance party for a while.  Eventually everyone got home and we made pizza and watched Umbrella Academy and Abundance and I went out to TJ Maxx to find more sheets for our bed (or beds in general, since we're now down to 2 fitted sheets for the 2 queen size beds we own and 2 king sheet sets for the king bed,  Got into a disagreement? failure of language? something with Abundance early in the evening and it sort of made the day feel muted.  But we still got the sheets and the added bonus of glitter shark wrapping paper and some tongs. 

 

Tomorrow, BARCC walk, grocery shopping and then powering through as much of the second season of She-Ra.  And then the week begins again.
