Okay, I need to commit this to memory.  I need retain this, I need to carry this around.

I began the day with making plans with Chile to go see herding dogs at the sheep-shearing festival.
Then I went to Bloc 11, where I got to poke around the SoS volunteer show.
I went to the asylum (I so very much want something else to call it than asylum or AA), decided to run with the pretense that I knew what I was doing and got to talk systems with a very smart person for much of the morning, and he seemed to appreciate it.   Then I actually had real conversation with the front desk person, about how organizations handle volunteer staff, and the molasses disaster and it was just delightfully comforting to get excited about random things and not feel self conscious.
Then I went to clover for lunch (honey lemonade!) and then harvard book store and listened to a tufts professor talk about her book "Citizenship and Governance in a Changing City: Somerville, MA".
Then I went to Jade's, and began to design a piece of jewelry for Saint with a garnet from my grandmother (since that's Coolidge's birthstone).
Then I walked home, having pleasantly exhausted myself by walking 4+ miles over the course of the day.   And I had an amazing card from a woman whom I will call Wings, and I'm going to take myself to Baltimore and visit her (and an aquarium) later in the year.
Then I deftly invited myself to Feste's house, which actually worked and I had a little danceparty sitting on the couch.
Then I had a little bit of conversation with Bespoke, and I almost managed to say a real thing, which made me feel good.  And I want the feeling good to be more about how I behave than what I get from behaving in a certain way.   (but, oh, the button feels so good when I press it).
And then Light returned home from work, I pounced him, we had enthusiastic sex, watched some episodes of Strip Search and continued on the project of playing through all of our two-player games.   (tonight was Early American Chrononauts, Royalty and Devil Bunny needs a Ham.)

Yesterday was a mostly-sad day (with an excellent dinner and dining companion).  Taking Moppet to the vet was hard in a way that had a lot more to do with Funnyface than I was prepared for.  (we've taken Brat and Noisy to the vet since Funnyface's death, and that was hard, but in a totally expected way).  But today was good.
