I haven't written in a couple days, late nights making me too fuzzy by the time I got home to have anything to say.
I worked on my resume and two cover letters, finally, and reactivated my email alerts on the beast's job posting site. I drank tea and ate thai food with some awesome people, and cajoled Delight's delightful husband to join us on the Illuminations tour. I spent six hours running around the asylum, gofering and having a generally grand time (too busy to be insecure, for the most part), had tea and sweet things with R, then to Hips and Hands for rockband, cards against humanity and hot-tubbing. (I missed them about exactly as much as I expected to, which is a lot.) Moppet got a haircut, the house got cleaned for the appraiser, I finished the Jim Hines novel I was reading. And I discovered my new favorite quick dinner in the world: Gardein faux beef tips, ginger people's magic sweet ginger chili sauce, leftover brown rice. Then we went and saw the new mudflat space, which was amazing, bought more beautiful mugs that should probably be for other people, but most likely won't leave the house and ran some other, less interesting errands.
Tonight, we're off to a double feature at the Brattle, which I've never done before, but for now, Light's in the kitchen making stuffing and after I post, I'll either go work on cross-stitch or put laundry away (most likely the latter and then the former), but for the moment, Funnyface's is sitting on top of me purring madly, moppet's cuddled up against my leg and I'm pretty much without motivation to move.
