It's that lovely time of year when mid-afternoon, the sun comes in the windows just right and I can see the layer of dust that coats everything in this house. So of course, I got up and started to clean. Which of course sent me into a vicious round of coughing, so now I'm back on the couch, still feeling crappy, still contemplating how badly I need to either brush or shave my cats.

I came home early from work today and passed out on the couch, again. I finished my corny, easy-read book and I really should get up and walk to the library, but I'm so very tired of coughing. I canceled the trainer tonight, and Thursday as well and am trying to remind myself to do nothing this week but go to work, come home, and sit on my ass. Which will last until Friday.

Light's decided to put his laptop away in the evenings, and it's probably a good decision, but it makes me feel like a tool to be chatting away on mine now. So I'm trying to identify projects that I can do that either don't have anything to do with the internet, or are productive enough that I don't feel guilty about puttering away on the internet. Of course, this new resolve meshes oddly with my brandy new phone, which I want to play with all the time. Which also really needs a name, and I can't come up with one yet (at first I typed 'who needs'). I was leaning towards Object, but that's clumsy on the tongue.(whereas, naming the roomba Iphigenia is totally fine).

There are little defects on my laptop screen (because I treat computers horribly) and I keep thinking I've erroneously punctuated.

Here are the November Plans, or at least all of them I'm willing to release to the public.

11/5, a class offered by harvard center for workplace development, entitled Navigating Your Career at Harvard, and then Kumquat's opening in the evening.
11/6, Eddie from Ohio Show, possible out-of-town visitor.
11/7, pick your own day at Parker Farms
11/9, volunteer at Passim for Girlyman Show
11/10, actually attend girlyman show
11/13, depressing BRCA conference
11/14, Ani Difranco at the Wilbur
11/15, exciting work thing with Dan Barber
11/18, finally going to Journeyman
11/20, the owner of Flour is doing a demonstration at Porter Square.
and then Thanksgiving.

And there's totally more, that's just the plans either with reservations or tickets purchased or with Light.

Wow, I just exhausted myself by just looking at my calendar. I guess that's it for today's post. As per usual, time for more tea.
