Grump

I am trying to write a cover letter for a volunteer position that would be awesome. I finally reached the woman on the phone and she pretty much said "send me a note and a resume".

However, all my attempts at doing so degenerate into a frothing puddle of "you probably don't really want to hire me anyway." So, I am full of grump, despite Funnyface's best efforts.
