Book Event(s)
Jul. 15th, 2007 08:47 pmI keep starting these essays about life as I'm living it right now, and then deleting them, because complaints seem whiny and positive thoughts seem like bragging. So I substitute the little things and promise myself later, I'll sit down and write at least a little bit of it out.
And again, I say later.
Does anyone local have any interesting in going to see Anne Fadiman read from her newest book at Odyssey Books this Wednesday? I haven't actually read The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down but I found Ex Libris quite endearing.
Also, Light and I have slacked the hell off and neither preordered nor made any particular decisions regarding the Harry Potter release. I imagine we'll go to a B&N, but have yet to really research options or decide which one. If anyone has any strong, local suggestions, I'm all ears.
