Apr. 19th, 2007 03:32 pmI'm at loose ends tomorrow. (by loose ends, I mean that Light won't be getting back into town until long after dinnertime.) My choices, as I see them, are all mildly tempting and all mildly not.
A) I could spend the night at home, pampering myself. I could even finally give up my superstition about the lingering remnants of my seven-months-ago wedding pedicure and repaint my toenails. Or I could watch Black Christmas (oh, Dawn) and knit.
B) I could take advantage of the Lane Bryant grand opening (40% off entire purchase) at the local mall. I hate driving, and shopping, and the mall, but it might be worth my while. I do need some new work clothes.
C) I could go work-clothes shopping (and/or shopping for a dress to attend a wedding/a replacement funeral dress, not because I have a funeral to attend, but because my standard funeral dress has been around since at least 01) someplace else entirely from the mall.
D) I could take myself to B&N, and drink cinnamon tea and finish the Jane Lindskold novel I've been reading when I go there.
E.) Clean. Mop. Do my mending. Vacuum my car out. Pay bills. File paperwork. Responsible stuff.
F) some other as of yet undiscovered option, which could range from taking myself to a movie to sitting in my bathtub sobbing, or staying very, very late at work.
In other news, I'm tempted to run away with my obgyn. Today is having the best weather ever. I just drove to the post office and it was one of those days when the light is so perfect that I want to kidnap one of my picture-taking friends and force march them around the pioneer valley.
Now cleaning and then Unexpected.
Also, does any one in the Northampton area have a realtor they would recommend?
