I have big plans for today. Well, medium-sized to small plans, truth be told and I can't start any of them because Funnyface has fallen asleep with her chin propped on my leg and is making weird-but-adorable pigeon-sounding snoring noises. Eventually I will break free, or Light will wake and rescue me, but for the moment, I am limited to playing on the internet and appreciating her adorableness (I cannot reach my book, my knitting, or the tivo controller).

So far, a nice but quiet weekend. The opening act at the Jeffrey Foucault was painful, but the show itself was fantastic. The nervewracking part is that about ten minutes before the show, Kris Delmhorst and Goody's wife (who is apparently a lovely poet, an opinion based on the fact Jeffrey and Goody performed some of her poems set to music. I wish I had caught her name) came and sat at the table next to us. I was less than a foot from a woman I have a painfully large crush for the entire show. Blessedly/unfortunately she was behind me, so I didn't have to try to keep from staring.

Now Noisy has come and curled up and fallen asleep on the couch next to Funnyface. Light's asleep upstairs and the third cat is asleep in the basket. Some days, I really wish I had the skill of sleeping in.

Saturday involved cleaning, birdfeeder refilling, pants-shopping, the grocery store, a weird dinner recipe, some WoW and Light playing God of War 2, which is hysterical. Also, Media called me to thank me for the nasty easter candy, which I found touching. He doesn't seem thrilled by the prospect of moving to Boston, which I understand, since he'll be leaving a pretty bloody awesome job, but I hope Saint's time in law school goes well for both of them, somehow.

Today is possible Cafe Esselon, or maybe just pancakes at home, maybe a couple hours of going into work, and other than that, as much laziness as I can pack into the day.

I have a strange and strong desire to make Rhubarb Chutney (the whole foods email included a link to the recipe) and am entirely unsure what I would put it on. That may not deter me, though.
