Sitting here, waiting for Light to get out of the shower so I can shower and we can go to the dentist where I will get bad news and antibiotics, I think I might have reached a decision. Of course, i've reached this decision a thousand times, and so it might be invalid.

But I think the time is come. I am miserable and stagnant and afraid all the time again. So, obviously, I must get a tattoo.

I'm not sure where, either in artist or in personal dermal real estate (probably some part of my leg leg). But I think I might have narrowed down what.

I've been playing with this site for much of the morning, http://botanical.com/botanical/mgmh/mgmh.html, and have picked out a few distinct possibilities, in terms of appropriateness of history. Borage is definitely the frontrunner, particularly due to the Gerard quote.

If I state my intent, I am more likely to follow through. And courage seems like something useful to write on my skin.
