a lovely, errand-filled, too-short weekend. Watching Sneakers with Tulip and Algonquin Friday night instead of gaming, and then peppers, watermelon, peaches and a cucumber from the farmers market, a couple books from Raven, a couple more from the library. Ice cube trays for the pesto from Target, a new cat carrier from Dave's, finishing a Tanya Huff book at B&N, then grocery shopping.

today was brunch at stables, and then pesto-making, and then lovely guests, Motion and someone who doesn't have a usename yet, and then a lovely low-fat pesto which sadly, i don't think would freeze well.

i got good dress-advice and it's looking like the old one is the front-runner. i'm tempted to go off on my standardized rant about trying to dress in a fashion industry in which i am the entirely wrong kind of fat, but i've said it to everyone before, and apparently, there are currently no dressy tops on the market (anywhere i can find).

more opinions from other lovely women this week, and yummy dinner plans, and good books (i'm abandoning my plans to read either Peake or Stephenson, since i've got all this lovely Atwood) and interesting things in my netflix queue. now, if only i had more limeade.
