just got back from a totally awesome Kris Delmhorst show, and i simply cannot wait for the next album. in part because i can't remember any of the whitman song she's doing and it's driving me mad (anything other than the post title, that is). However, she also sang the song based on Browning's "A Toccata of Galuppi's" Herrick's "The Scare-fire" and whoever wrote "Sea Fever" and they were all breathtaking. and it was in a nature center with, among other things, a stuffed armadillo, and we played Quiddler during intermission and now it's bedtime.
