many, many different things to talk about, but none of them seem comfortably settling down to be put into words. amazing evening last night, makeupsex and eating sushi in bed, and just this sort of wonderful wrapped-in-a-blanket feeling of this will work out. mech's off to the other coast this wednesday, and media came and left, implying once again that if i was just a little more of a team player, the family would be wonderful.

my aunt and uncle continue to rock the house in truly unimaginable ways, and let light and i spend both nights over there, even sleeping in the same bed and feeding us tea and fruit and stickybuns for breakfast on a porch with a view out towards the ocean.

we went to the making of the lotr exhibit at the museum of science, which was, admittedly, adorable if a bit overwhelming, and i think i almost want to go back, particularly if we can go back for one of the special lectures or demonstrations. the crowd was an equal mix of parents with kids, teenage fangirls, and "our" people, which was pretty enjoyable for peoplewatching purposes.

and i want many of the mos toys in my house, now. particularly the fluid wheel.

it's time to start packing, time to figure out if i want to take a class somewhere, time to clean the house and unearth the clean house i had before i began to languish last week time to write a bookreview for the website, time to make a new dish for dinner, time to budget, time to take time off to move, time to try and figure out what sort of decay my social life fell into when i wasn't looking. time to try and milk more knowledge from junkyard, time to start working on the poetry web again. time to send sanguine a package, time to plan vacations, time to start tackling the ludicrous to-do list i've created for myself. time to pay bills, time to try and collect players for light's potential game, or bully someone into running a game i can play in. time to start walking, time to start shopping at the farmers' market, time to give time or money to the kerry campaign. time to let go what has to be let go of, time to buy a new spatula. time to stop sounding like a knockoff lightman novel.
